Blocking and reporting

Two tools for people problems: blocking changes what you see, reporting brings in staff.

Blocking someone

In chat, click the person's avatar or username and choose Block. Their messages disappear from your view straight away rather than at your next reconnect, and their PMs stop reaching you.

Choose Unblock from the same menu to reverse it, or use Manage blocked users in the chat options.

What blocking is not

Blocking only changes what you see. It does not remove the person from the room, stop them reading your messages, or stop them watching your stream.

Seeing who you have blocked

The chat options panel has a Manage blocked users button after you've blocked at least one person.

Reporting

If you find someone breaking the rules, use the report system to bring it to the attention of the staff. There is a report button on:

  • Gallery images.
  • Comments.
  • Chat messages.
  • Streams, through Report content in the player's settings menu.

Please include context about why you are reporting something, even if you think it's obvious.

What happens next

Staff review reports and take action on the reported content, which can range from removing a post to banning. You will not usually receive feedback on your report.

You do not have to wait for staff in your own chat or posts. You can kick or ban someone, and delete comments on your own posts. Report as well if the behavior warrants it beyond your room, and for anyone continually harassing you or working to evade blocks, kicks or bans - through the report feature or support@piczel.tv.
